The Malone Auto Racks DownLoader is a premium J-style kayak carrier with features for low clearance, ease of loading, and universal fit for most load bars. This carrier includes corrosion proof frames, molded strap bales, replaceable base pads, replaceable upper sleeves, and a fold-down release design. The easy-to-use hub release levers make raising and lowering the upper frames quick and nearly effortless. The carrier base has a rectangular “cutout” for square crossbar fit. The “cutout” will not affect the fit or function when installed to round or oval crossbars. It comes with two lengths of mounting bolts to fit a variety of crossbars. It has a boarding ramp for easy loading and unloading; and integrates with Malone Auto Racks MPG351XLTelos Kayak Load Assist (sold separately). Bow and stern safety tie-downs are required for all Malone rooftop transport(s). Failure to correctly install and use safety tie-down lines voids all warranty and liability.
